The great outdoors go stylish in

See You Tomorrow and Mystic Vintage presents a collaborative pop up store showcasing a mix of wares from both brands at The Curious Teepee

Last week, Artitute had the chance to experience some great artistic outdoors in our urban jungle. We were invited by Foo Aiwei, designer and owner of See You Tomorrow for the co-launch with Mystic Vintage at The Curious Teepee at Scape.

The Alfresco Tale of Something

See You Tomorrow and Mystic Vintage presents a collaborative pop up store showcasing a mix of wares from both brands. Blurring the lines between an outdoor experience and an indoor setting, this little picnic adventure will also feature limited editions specially curated and created for this store only. Come try on some clothes, pick up some knick knacks, a pair of sunglasses and even a nice cuppa.”

Don’t be deceived by Aiwei’s petite frame and soft spoken personality. This young lady packs punch with her creative, unconventional but yet pretty and delicate line of wearable. At the lunch of The Alfresco Tale of Something at The Curious Teepee, Aiwei showcased her line of quirky fashion accessories and hand sewn households wares, together with the launch of Mystic Vintage’s latest line of retro shades. The two lines compliments each other bringing in the great outdoors, garden-like setting into the boutique. Plus the teepee in the middle of the room added a touch of camp fire feel. Now where are the little indians?

The fashion lines from both brands are almost a work of art by itself. But I must say that one needs to have the confidence to carry off Aiwei’s fashion accessories and Mystic Vintage’s bold shades. Definately not for someone like me who always plays it safe with my Kate Middleton dresses.

However, it was also Artitute’s first time stepping foot into The Curious Teepee. Guess curiosity got the better of me and there I was. The Curious Teepee is the brainchild of Singapore hippest marketer, Tracy Philips, hence you will expect nothing less than a hip and groovy cafe cum lifestyle boutique in the middle of Singapore’s shopping district. This is definitely the place to see and to be seen if you are expecting more than just a cuppa of java by the guys from Papa Palheta.

Mystic Vintage duo, Jason Tong & Alvin Tan and See you Tomorrow’s Aiwei Foo will share little tales at the next upcoming Pow Wow Sessions so come catch up with them.
