February 14. The annual magical number looked forward by lovebirds but dreaded by the lonely hearts. Yes, it’s Valentines Day.
Some lovebirds will be celebrating Valentines Day at the Istana Park tomorrow for a special screening of Heart-Shaped Box presented by My Art Space, a series of local indie short films curated by Wesley Leon Aroozoo. We wonder if any singles will be gatecrashing with their best friend or buddies and tone down the saccharine atmosphere.
The 7 films are; The Wedding Avenger by Michelle Cheong Mickey by Wesley Leon Aroozoo Doodle by Wan Zhong Wei Hole In The Bed by Nelson Yeo Swing by Leon Cheo Hello, Goodbye by Tay Licheng I Want To Remember by Sherman Ong
Pretty much a cheap date for Valentines Day as the tickets were priced at $20 per couple. Unless someone decides to swoon their valentine with a luscious Valentine’s Picnic Basket, filled with yummy goodies @ $104 per basket, which of course includes tickets to the show.
Love will be in the air and maybe someone will get a wedding proposal under the starry sky.
