Exhibition opening nights will be on at many galleries on Friday evening so if you fancy some gallery hopping then here are some that you should not miss: Medi, a solo exhibition by Japanese artist Takao Minami at Ota Fine Arts; The Dynamics a group exhibition featuring a range of multi-media artworks at ShanghART Gallery; Fragility of the Self , a solo exhibition of photography works by emerging Thai artist Kamolpan Chotvichai at the Sundaram Tagore Gallery and IN THE LOOP by Thai artist Jittagarn Kaewtinkoy at the Yavuz Gallery.

Some of the other events that will be on during the 2 day celebrations are:

It will feature porcelain works from Japanese as well as local ceramicists and designers. Supermama will also launch Supermama Design Mart x Arita Porcelain Deadstock Sale as part of the celebrations.

NTU Centre for Contemporary Art (CCA) Singapore’s Residencies: OPEN will offer a rare insight into the often introverted sphere of the artist’s studio. Artist Speak Cryptic will paint a mural inspired by Gillman Barracks’ military history on 23 September, and you can take part in your own interactive mural activity with the artist the next day at Art Day Out!

Art Outreach will be collaborating with OIC (Organisation of Illustrators Council) to illustrate visitors’ portraits in a special after dark session (7.30pm – 10.30pm, 23 September).
