Sunday morning is the best time for many to sleep in and catch their Zs. However, about 40 Singapore bloggers and photographers took to the streets of Raffles Place at 9am on Sunday (18th December 2011) morning, to participate in the Elephant Parade Photo Adventure @ Marina Bay, organised by the Urban Redevelopment Authority Singapore (URA).

Christmas came early to Artitute and we received a few packages from the lovely folks from The Affordable Art Fair Singapore. They have thoughtfully sent us a few copies of “A GUIDE TO BUYING AND COLLECTING AFFORDABLE CONTEMPORARY ART” BY Beatrice Hodgkin.
It was our first visit to BooksActually after their move to their new hood in Tiong Bahru. We were utterly amazed by the varieties of books and gifts. Truly a shopper’s paradise even for the non-bookworms.
We couldn’t help resisting and bought 2 picture books. The Curious Sofa – A Pornographic work by Ogdred Weary, and The Epiplectic Bicycle by Edward Gorey. We also found several books and merchandise, highly recommend to get if you haven’t found the perfect Christmas gifts for your friends who have everything.
