Celebrating the 100th anniversary of Cheong Soo Pieng, the lecture will provide an understanding and overview of the work of Singapore’s pioneer generation of artists that laid the foundations of a Singaporean/Nanyang art tradition.
Artists featured include Lim Hak Tai, Chen Chong Swee, Liu Kang, Cheong Soo Pieng, Chen Wen His and Georgette Chen.
