Maya Gallery is delighted to present a group exhibition by emerging Singapore artists Gazaly Haron, Maisarah Kamal, Masturah Shaari, Midah Arshad, Rick Farid and Zaheera Hashim.
“Pameran Kini”, which means current exhibition in Malay, showcases recent works by promising local talents in various stages of their artistic journeys. Despite similarities in educational background – all are either graduates of, or are still pursuing their passions at, NAFA or LaSalle College of the Arts, the works highlight the different ways each artist approach various issues and how they see the world around them. Showcasing a diversity in style yet with an individually distinct identity and story, each is making a mark in the local art scene.
