    Singapore through foreign eyes. Part 2 of 3.

    Residue is a photography series that Marcel Heijnen has been working on and exhibiting for the past 4 years. At first glance the surreal, organically detailed images look like paintings but they are actually photographs of buildings seamlessly reflected into backdrops of weathered walls – singly captured with just a camera and an untreated clear glass panel.     Milan Image Art Fair 2014

    The renowned Milan Image Art Fair (MIA Fair) will be organising its first photography and video art fair at Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands from 23 – 26 October 2014, promising a total of 140 personal solo shows of international artists.

    Conceived in 2011 by Fabio Castelli, MIA Fair is set to bring art collectors and photography enthusiasts from around the world to witness a wealth of modern art in the form of photography – a unique element that distinguishes MIA Fair from traditional art fairs. (more…)
