2011 Biennale family day out

If you have been whining about how boring Singapore is and there’s nothing to do in this little red dot. Stop your whine and head down to the Old Kallang Airport this weekend

The Singapore Art Museum has organized a series of fun-filled activities at the Singapore Biennale – OPEN HOUSE for this Easter weekend. You can shop to your hearts content at the flea market. And maybe unearth some art farty finds. Or join in the special tours to learn more about the art works on site. Maybe even to get to meet the artists in person.

Also, how can you beat the icing on cake that it’s free admission this Good Friday and every Sunday till the end of the Biennale? Don’t we all love freebies?

So stop whining and make your way down to the Old Kallang Airport this long weekend. And if you need a free ride, hop on a free shuttle bus from the Singapore Art Museum at Bras Basah Road or find your way around with the following buses.

Bus: SBS 2, 7, 12, 13, 21, 26 31, 32, 33, 51, 63, 80, 100, 175, 197. Or SMRT 67, 546, 853, 853C, 961, 961C, 985 and NR7.
