    About BODY X

    Conceived and directed by seasoned Singaporean theatre practitioners Li Xie 李邪 and Danny Yeo杨君伟, BODY X is an original and innovative Chinese site-specific murder-mystery theatre format with a unique audience participation element. As the story unfolds in multiple scenes that simultaneously take place in different spaces within Singapore’s former Parliament House (now The Arts House), audiences rely on their instincts to decide which character or storyline to follow. The theatrical experience is a personalised one as it involves each audience member collecting clues to piece the puzzle together, on their own terms, in order to determine who the murderer is. As the story is set in the 1970s, audiences will also step back in time, as The Arts House will be transformed into the interiors of a grand old mansion reflecting that period. (more…)

    Dai Yun has attained outstanding achievements in contemporary sculpture in China. Red bricks, grey bricks, cement and concrete iron have become his iconic sculptural languages, which is unique in the art community of Chinese contemporary sculpture. Leo Gallery is delighted to present Dai Yun’s first solo exhibition in Hong Kong during Hong Kong Art Week 2016, and is honoured to have invited the well-known sculpture art critic Dr Sun Zhenhua to give academic advice on this exhibition.
