    OPEN CALL: IMPART Art Prize (2022)

    The IMPART Art Prize is back and they are looking for 3 promising emerging artists and curators who will each receive an SGD 20,000 prize comprising SGD 15,000 in cash and an international exchange programme (valued at SGD 5,000). As the Prize enters its 5th year, they have raised the age limit to 18-40 years, and now accept artworks across all mediums, to remain relevant to changes in contemporary artmaking practices.

    The IMPART Art Prize (formerly known as the IMPART Awards), presented by Art Outreach, aims to support the professional development of emerging artists and curators in Singapore by providing impactful career-building opportunities.

    OPEN CALL: DECK – Undescribed #7 (2022)

    More than just a group exhibition, Undescribed is a mentorship programme for fresh graduates embarking on the journey as an artist. The 7th edition 2022 is now open for application.

    The programme will start in October 2021 and culminated in a group exhibition in Feb 2022. 6 applications will be shortlisted. This programme is only applicable for fresh graduates of 2021 from Singapore arts academy or university.

    Interested applicants, please send in your portfolio of works in PDF, CV, and a short paragraph (max 800words) on your interest or propose work for the group exhibition.

    OPEN CALL: DECK Creative Associate Programmes (2021)

    DECK Creative Associate Programmes offers creative thinkers worldwide an opportunity to create and disseminate new knowledge about the photographic medium, its associated practices, and its transformations. Taking photography as both a vantage point and point of departure, the programme seeks to connect voices in the global exchange of visual culture through the development of new content.

    DECK Creative Associate Programmes (2021)

    Over a three month period, Associates will be provided with a modest honorarium towards the development of new content culminating in exhibition proposals, writing, or public outreach programmes. These outcomes correspond to the three pathways of the Associate Creative Programme – Associate Curator, Associate Scholar, and Associate Programmer. With a strong focus on uncovering contemporary community values and ideals, the programme emphasizes the proposal’s ability to generate new knowledge while bridging cultural divides.
